Presented by AFA United MEC President Greg Davidowitch on behalf of the AFA United MEC:

Honoring Aloha and ATA AFA Members and Leaders

Whereas, since the early years of AFA Aloha Flight Attendants have been an integral part of our union family, helping to shape the strongest Flight Attendant Union in the world and build our proud profession as Flight Attendants, and

Whereas, in 1991 ATA Flight Attendants joined our efforts to protect and build our career as Members of the largest Flight Attendant union in the world, the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, and

Whereas, the power of our solidarity has always been stronger because it includes the “spirit of Aloha.”

Therefore Be It Resolved, the AFA-CWA Board of Directors forever stands in solidarity with the AFA Members of Aloha and ATA,

Be It Finally Resolved, the AFA-CWA Board of Directors honors these Members and extraordinary leaders by retiring Council numbers 31 (MCO), 32 (NYC), 33 (CHI), 34 (DTW), 35 (IND), 36 (PHX/LAS), 37 (LAX/SFO/OAK), 54 (HNL) until or unless they can be used as Councils for AFA Members working at reestablished ATA or Aloha Airlines.
