Returned Check Update: Returned REIMBURSEMENT checks: funds are still NOT available for parking reimbursement checks. Finance is compiling a list of returned parking checks and recommends faxing a copy of either the check, or a return notice from your financial institution to 541-5698, attn: Michelle Ramos. IF/when the funds become available for these checks, Finance will immediately re-issue. REMINDER: If your 4/15 payroll correction was not processed, please notify Gail Kim-Moe (382-9620) immediately. Deadline for these corrections will be Tuesday, May 13th, 12 noon.
[05.09.08] --The information that we received from Al Pattison regarding returned checks is incorrect. Authorization to release the funds is still pending. Please hold off on depositing of these returned checks until we receive further information. We apologize for the confusion. We are working hard to get the correct information to you as soon as possible.
[05.12.08] -- Returned PAYROLL checks: funds have been approved and released by the Trustee for returned PAYROLL checks. Please deposit as soon as possible.

RETURNED CHECKS:
Per Al Pattison, as of May 7, 2008, we are now able to cash all checks that were previously returned. Funds have been released by the Bankruptcy Trustee to cover these checks. It is recommended that you deposit these checks as soon as possible for payment.
COBRA:
Per Al Pattison, COBRA medical coverage should be available through the end of May 2008. HMSA will send termination notification to you directly if you are a current COBRA participant at the appropriate time. At the point that COBRA is no longer available, HMSA will offer conversion plans, and recommends that you call their Customer Service Department to learn about which plan will best suit your needs.
FLIGHT ATTENDANT PENSION:
We continue to await a determination from the Bankruptcy Trustee regarding the official status and role of our plan administrator, Al Pattison. Upon approval from the Trustee, we will continue the necessary process to distribute pension fund monies. We are in the process of planning and scheduling a meeting with the advisors from Smith Barney, the Financial Advisors for our plan. Information is forthcoming.
4-15-08 PAYROLL ERRORS:
If your pay corrections for the 4-15-08 payroll were NOT processed, please notify us IMMEDIATELY. We have asked for a final opportunity to resolve all pay issues, but can only do so if we are aware of your situation. We will submit our final request to Finance on Tuesday, May 13 @ noon.
