Dear Aloha Flight Attendant:
[03.27.08] -- It is status quo as far as operations and the bankruptcy proceedings are concerned. Passenger bookings are still strong and the average ticket price has gone up significantly. The most important thing we can all do at this time is to stay positive and to encourage our fellow employees to show up to work and do our jobs as professionally as we always do. Flight cancellations and delays at this critical time could cause passengers to book away from Aloha which would mean lost/foregone revenue. This could have a direct impact on any potential investor's decision to invest in Aloha or not.
Our Q & A will soon be posted on the AFA website (www.AFAAloha.com) and we will update as frequently as necessary to make sure you have the latest information. Please be sure to send us any additional questions you may have. The company question and answer hotline is also up and running as well as their website.
AFA, in conjunction with the other labor groups, will be holding rallies on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Capitol and on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Court. Please make every effort to attend. You may wear your uniform if you wish or any Aloha Airlines logo wear.
